Project Manager/ Atlassian Administrator

As part of the Data & Analytics (D&A) team at CU Boulder, I coordinate work amongst different groups for continuity and effectiveness.  This effort includes administering our Atlassian Suite of products for D&A - managing permissions, user access, configurations, and automations for Confluence, Jira Service Management, and Jira Software.

Reporting to the Project Management Office (PMO) and dedicated to IT construction and renovation projects (primarily focused on data and wireless systems), I collaborate to keep our teams on track by coordinating efforts in design, implementation, subcontractors, and Facilities Management.

Project / Product Manager: Wi-Fi Reporting Application

Jan 2019 - Feb 2020

Managed a team within CU Boulder's OIT to coordinate, develop, and deploy a customized mobile application where students, faculty, and staff report Wi-Fi experience on campus, while the scripts effortlessly gather technical details from the device.
• User research, prototyping, user testing, and interviews were key to shaping the interface.
• Exemplary cross functional IT knowledge necessary to unite the team towards a common goal.

OIT Financial Analyst and Service Manager

May 2018 - June 2019

Monthly budget reporting, journal entry recording, and rate setting for auxiliary OIT departments. Managed mobile application deployment service for faculty and staff, and also employee time record service in support of department-wide cost analysis.
•    Co-developed precise funding model to recover $2MM in costs. 
•    Anticipated and responded to user needs for mobile application deployment service.
•    Service manager for employee time reporting to support department cost analysis.

Business Relationship Management Coordinator

• Positively communicated with customers (faculty and college departments) to repair business relationships and implement solutions.
• Coordinated internal teams for effective engagement to restore the reputation of our organization.

Developed and streamlined a process to validate telecommunications data for the implementation of over 8,000 phones under the university's new Cisco phone system.

  • Extensive use of Excel formulas and pivot tables to highlight anomalies in information.

  • Supervised a team of three others to support the efforts.

Teaching Assistant: UX/UI Design

T.A. for Grad Level section of "CSCI5839: User Centered Design." I assisted in guiding students through their projects (mobile application development) and I helped grade them, focusing on UX/UI planning.

This degree focused on applying practical technology solutions to global user needs by understanding how to frame questions to discern unarticulated challenges.  Ethnography, interviews, usability testing, survey data collection and analysis, and other techniques were studied and practiced.
